ABSTRACT
Microsporum canis is one of the most important dermatophyte causing tinea corporis and capitis its biofilm-form has a poor therapeutic response. The biosurfactant production by entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) not been reported yet. study aimed to investigate potential usage EPF in eradication an ex vivo biofilm (M. canis) for first time. An fungus was isolated from fungal-infected Vespa orientalis wasp identified as Beauveria bassiana (MN173375). Chemical characterization revealed lipopeptide nature B. (BBLP). Efficient antifungal antibiofilm activities BBLP against M. vitro were detected. hair model used efficiency biofilm, scenario close conditions. canisex confirmed stereo, scanning electron, fluorescent images. Also, less susceptible treatment compared counterpart. In conclusion, showed significant open horizons use bio-resource derived controlling microbial holding great promise combating recalcitrant dermatophytosis.
