ABSTRACT
Sagittaria trifolia is a medicinal foodstuff of China and East Asia belonging to the family Alismataceae. Samples S. tubers were collected from Meihekow, Siping, Jilin, Harbin Wuchang Northeast China. The current study was aimed evaluate qualitative quantitative analysis, antioxidant activity, biochemical analysis chemical composition different populations trifolia. By using Folin-Ciocalteu, aluminium chloride colourimetric 1,1-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), total phenol flavonoids content activity analysed. Furthermore, composition, mineral substances also determined. results showed presence flavonoids, phenols, saponins, tannins, glycosides steroids except for alkaloids terpenoids by analysis. Quantitative revealed that highest phenol, potential identified i.e., 2.307 mg GAE/g, 12.263 QE/g 77.373%, respectively. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry 40 compounds corresponding 99.44% extract might be responsible properties. Mineral calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, zinc and, carbohydrate, protein, fibre fat contents, Interestingly, all locations possess similar composition. dietary values, phytoconstituents, activities nutritional curative are beneficial nutritherapy human beings.
