ABSTRACT
Urban wastes are a potential source of environment contamination, especially when they not properly disposed. Nowadays, researchers finding innovative solutions for recycling and reusing in order to favour sustainable development from the viewpoint circular economy. In this context, lignin-like fraction biomass derived Green Compost is cost-effective soluble Bio-Based Substances (BBS-GC), namely complex macromolecules/supramolecular aggregates characterized by adsorbing photosensitizing properties. work BBS-GC were immobilized on silica support (SBA-15) chemico-physical properties resulting hybrid material (BBS-SBA) analysed zeta-potential measurements, nitrogen adsorption at 77K micro-calorimetric techniques. Successively, BBS-SBA abilities tested. Adsorption dark Rhodamine B Orange II their degradation upon irradiation under simulated solar light shown, together with formation hydroxyl radicals detected Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectroscopy. Furthermore, six inorganic ions (Al, Ni, Mn, As, Hg, Cr) was studied pure water two different pH values landfill leachate, showing good kind materials removal wastewater contaminants.
