ABSTRACT
In order to provide effective dietary guidance, it is necessary consider intake, which can change over time. This study analyzed changes in the diet of Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes a 20-year period.We compared results two surveys that used food frequency questionnaire format. The first was conducted 1996 by Japan Diabetes Complications Study (JDCS) (n = 1509; males 53.3%), and second 2014-2018 Clinical Data Management (JDDM) 1145; 65.6%). Both are nationwide representative registries outpatients Japan.Over period, both men women had significant increase body mass index (BMI). Nonetheless, there only small energy intake.
