ABSTRACT
(1) Background: Exhaustive exercise can induce muscle damage. The consumption of nutritional compounds with the ability to positively influence oxidative balance and an exacerbated inflammatory process has been previously studied. However, little is known about value curcumin (CCM) when mixed whey protein concentrate (WPC). This study was developed evaluate effect CCM-added WPC on control histopathological consequences in tissue submitted exhaustive swimming test (ET). (2) Methods: 48 animals were randomly allocated six groups (n = 8). An ET performed 4 weeks after start diet euthanized 24 h post ET. (3) Results: + CCM reduced IL-6 increased IL-10 expression tissue. carbonyl compared standard AIN-93M diets. Higher nitric oxide concentrations observed that consumed CCM. Consumption or isolated areas infiltrate fibrotic muscle. (4) Conclusions: contribute reduction inflammation damage caused by test.
