ABSTRACT
This study presents the synthesis of manganese molybdenum tetraoxide (MnMoO4)-based nanoparticles and then their experimental demonstration as saturable absorbers (SAs) in erbium-doped fiber lasers (EDFLs). The MnMoO4 were prepared embedded between ferrule to act an SA generate Q-switched pulsed operation EDFLs. For characterization, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed confirm particle size nanoparticles, optical properties further investigated by measuring modulation depth saturation intensity. By implementing within cavity, measured results revealed that under pump power ranging from 28 312.5 mW, laser exhibited pulse durations varying 15.22 2.35 µs repetition rates spanning 24.98 88.11 kHz. proposed EDFL system delivered average output 0.128 2.95 energies 5.12 33.49 nJ, peak 0.281 6.26 mW. stability also confirmed continuously noticing duration, emission wavelengths, for 4 h. Finally, a numerical model based on nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) validate both theoretical passive EDFL. These findings highlight potential EDFLs utilizing MnMoO4-based SAs applications sources.
