ABSTRACT
Increasing energy demands and growing environmental concerns regarding the consumption of fossil fuels are important motivations for development clean sustainable sources. A triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is a promising technology that harnesses mechanical from ambient environment by converting it into electrical energy. In this work, enhancement conversion performance natural rubber (NR)-based TENG has been proposed using modified activated carbon (AC). The effect surface modification techniques, including acid treatments plasma treatment AC material on performance, investigated. fabricated NR incorporated with N2 showed superior output which was attributed to introducing changes in chemistry AC, leading improved dielectric property NR-AC composite, contributes enhanced charge density. highest power density 2.65 mW/m2 obtained (N2 plasma-treated) TENG. This research provides key insight high could be useful other future applications such as PM2.5 removal or CO2 capture.
