ABSTRACT
This work is aimed at describing the design of a mechanical and programmable 3D capturing system to be used by either scanner or DSLR camera through photogrammetry. Both methods are widely in diverse areas, from engineering, architecture archaeology, up field medicine; but they also entail certain disadvantages, such as high costs equipment, scanners with some precision, need resort specialized operatives, among others. The purpose this create robust, precise cost-effective that improves limitations present equipment on market, robotic arms rotary tables. For reason, preliminary study has been conducted analyse needs improvement, later, we have focused prototyping. its construction, there FDM additive technology structural components easy find market. With regards electronic components, basic electronics Arduino-based printers firmware selected. testing, capture consists Spider Artec Scanner Nikon 5100 SLR Camera. Finally, models developed comparing meshes obtained two methods, obtaining satisfactory results.
