ABSTRACT
Making quantitative evaluations of the environmental functions soil in a way is an urgent necessity for transitioning towards sustainable use soils. The objective this work was to and improve Soil Environment software soils volcanic areas, which not designed on. study conducted area Michoacan, Mexico. Nine profiles were described; samples taken from each horizon physical chemical properties sample analyzed. used conduct pedoecological and, subsequently, evaluation modeling scenarios carried out. studied showed variable hydraulic conductivity, field capacity, air effective cation exchange organic carbon. very high nutrient retention, naturalness sorption heavy metals, low cultural natural archive properties. generally works well with areas; however, we suggest improvements method following functions: agricultural quality. Additionally, estimating aeration capacity conductivity should be calibrated allowed us identify that are most vulnerable degradation. provided clear idea negative positive effects change would have.
