ABSTRACT
In order to detect and control the concentration of polymetallic ions in industrial wastewater real time, a spectrophotometric method combining wavelet transform (WT) partial least squares regression (PLSR) is proposed for simultaneous determination zinc, cobalt nickel by ultraviolet-visible spectrometry, without separation step. WT was found be suitable spectral preprocessing, which effectively eliminated noise, enhanced feature information, improved linearity detected increased number selectable modeling wavelengths. PLSR used study detection nickel. The linear ranges were 10–100 mg/L 0.6–6.0 0.3–3.0 cobalt. average relative deviation 2.85%, 3.05% 2.24%, respectively. results indicated that WT–PLSR online spectroscopy zinc wastewater.
