ABSTRACT
Rock weathering is the main source of element geochemical cycle, which has a very important impact on environment. Three well-developed basalt profiles in Changbai Mountain area are selected this study, and samples parent rock, material layer, sedimentary leaching layer systematically collected. The systematic study showed that experienced moderate chemical under warm humid climate conditions, with some major elements such as silicon aluminum. distribution rare earth (REE) products recalls an alkali-basalt, evident fractionation between light- heavy-REE. Such feature therefore referable to volcanic although degree leaching.
