ABSTRACT
The Asian clam Corbicula fluminea was first discovered in Ireland the Rivers Barrow and Nore 2010.Scuba diving surveys were primary sampling method used to determine detailed distribution of this species two rivers.Sustainable populations present tidal freshwater reaches both rivers.No clams upstream limit.A maximum density 9,636 individuals m -2 recorded River Barrow.This paper presents some basic metrics relation these connected river systems.
