Modeling and analysis for the deployment dynamic behavior of the large flexible solar array

ABSTRACT
The large flexible solar array for the satellite will deploy when it reaches scheduled orbit by space rocket, which is key normal running of satellite. However, undesirable and unpredicted frequency vibration may be resulted from flexibility elements array. In this paper, dynamic model panel was firstly developed based on modal synthesis method. Moreover, stretchable mechanism in introduced applying Euler-Bounerlli beam theory. Also, guide ropes, hinges electric cables were considered proposed model. It found could achieve a higher accuracy simulation compared to traditional method with coordinate Especially, dependence rope tension deployment behavior explored Results showed that vibrations reduced improving tension, used design operation
