ABSTRACT
Background : Diarrhea is an important problem among the under-five children in India. Objective The paper examines long-term impacts of recurrent floods on diarrhea Uttar Pradesh, Design A two stage stratified cluster survey was conducted flood affected (exposed) and non-flood areas (unexposed). Results impact not clearly marked overall prevalence with exposed group having 55.1% as against 56.2% unexposed under five. Economic condition household associated both strata. Anemia found to be a significant risk factor for populations. did have any effect relation gender, religion, caste, size. Conclusions study indicates that are very differently manifested than immediate impacts.
