ABSTRACT
Objective: In this study, we aimed to reveal the effect of open heart surgeries on acoustic sound quality and vocal range by using computer aided analysis method. Materials Methods: Preoperative objective voice was performed 40 patients who were operated in our clinic between 2020 2021. Measurements repeated 2nd postoperative month. The results compared statistically. Results: There no significant difference groups according handicap index-10 (VHI-10) (p>0.050). baseline frequency (F0) value found be statistically significantly higher period preoperative (p=0.042). jitter %, shimmer % harmonic noise ratio (HNR) values. Conclusion: Open surgery is an operation that can have a destructive respiratory system. fact lungs, which are source energy, affected, suggests will also affected. While these effects usually regress short time, they sometimes permanent. This condition mostly affects people use their profession. Therefore, detailed information about such situation should given each patient care taken minimize factors may cause disorders.
