ABSTRACT
Introduction: The golden standard of the treatment radicular cysts is mainly root canal therapy or surgical excision with apicectomy. canals are usually disinfected by mechanical and chemical actions instruments irrigating solutions respectively. To improve efficacy disinfection process, many techniques have been used researchers still trying to reach quickest most convenient way achieve this goal. Diode lasers shown antibacterial activity on dentinal tubules, they can penetrate more than 1000 μm into dentin. Case Presentation: Our patient was a 25-year-old female an infraorbital abscess caused non-vital maxillary canine periapical radiolucency. After completing conventional treatment, optical fiber inserted according working length previously measured. An 810 nm diode laser at output power 4 W irradiate canals, 300 fiber. free pain within few days. lesion resolved in radiographic follow-ups, 3 6 months after treatment. Conclusion: A combination effective for teeth lesions.
