Immunity due to COVID-19 vaccination and its correlation with lung involvement severity as an indicator of disease severity

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic is a worldwide challenge; regarding the lack of an effective and efficient drug. It seems that vaccine only modality to save world from this pandemic. Objectives: This study was conducted assess effect vaccination on preventing pulmonary involvement disease severity COVID-19 patients. Patients Methods: descriptive-analytical 247 people with 2019 infection. Demographic characteristics status information were collected. Patients’ lung computed tomography scan findings scored based percentage, then according score, they graded into severe, moderate, mild, without involvement. The association between evaluated by Fisher’s exact test logistic regression. Results: Most participants male, mean age 53.74 ± 10.96 years. (42.9%) partial-vaccinated. Lungs in 53.3% 46.6% without. correlation significant (P<0.001). Conclusion: Vaccination method severity.
