Investigational Drugs for the COVID 19 Pandemic – A Concise Review

The present year saw the emergence of a pandemic Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID 19). unpreparedness for and lack drugs/vaccine against this virus has led to high mortality rate across world. In process, number drugs have been tried corona including antivirals like remdesivir, lopinavir-ritonavir, favipiravir, monoclonal antibodies tocilizumab sarilumab antimalarial chloroquine hydroxychloroquine. At time, none these reported efficacy virus. Here we review all drugs, their proposed mechanism action status in clinical trials.
