ABSTRACT
Background. Postoperative delirium is one of the most severe and common complications thoracic surgery in elderly patients. Objective. To establish a simple accurate method for predicting development postoperative patients after surgery. Material methods. We performed an observational cohort study 303 who underwent lobectomy oncological diseases. The nature anesthesia surgical intervention, features volume status hemodynamic changes during perioperative period were analyzed, laboratory indicators this are evaluated. Results. Of patients, 43 (14.2%) developed delirium. Non-modifiable factors include age, history cerebrovascular accident, alcohol misuse disorder, chronic heart failure, more physical according to ASA (American Society Anesthesiologists) Physical Status Classification System. Modifiable following: duration one-lung ventilation, episodes hypotension hypoxemia, use opioids, intensity pain syndrome period, reduced oxygen transport function blood. A number parameters (blood albumin, blood glucose, leukocytosis), reflecting degree stress, may also be useful predicting. Conclusion. prognostic coefficient was compiled with concordance 99.9 Somers' D 0.998. It equal sum products: (–3.5367) multiplied by on 10 cm Visual Analogue Scale hour surgery; 2.2037 albumin level morning (–4.8151) glucose
