ABSTRACT
The usage of polyester (PET) in fabrication is increasing day by due to its properties, ease physical and chemical modification. aim this work understand the effect temperature on Polyester during knitting. For checking rise Infrared (IR) camera used. Microscopic images are used for studying fibre/yarn structure. Morphological analysis also done X-ray diffraction (XRD) which shows disturbance polymeric chains, causing change crystal size elevated temperature. beads formation filament breakage clearly seen images. Due knitting fault, shade variation after dyeing occurred. It concluded that structural morphology yarn changes friction with machine parts. Fabric appearance fabric quality disturbed leads rejections high losses.
