ABSTRACT
Today's power systems are seeing a paradigm shift under the energy transition, sparkled by electrification of demand, digitalisation systems, and an increasing share decarbonated generation. Most these changes have direct impact on their control centers, forcing them to handle weather-based resources, new interconnections with neighbouring transmission networks, more markets, active distribution micro-grids, greater amounts available data. Unfortunately, translated during past decade small, incremental changes, mostly centered hardware, software, human factors. We assert that transformative needed, especially regarding humancentered design approaches, enable room operators manage future system. This paper discusses evolution towards continuous operation planners, monitoring complex time horizons thanks adequate real-time automation. Reviewing upcoming challenges as well emerging technologies for we present our vision evolutionary architecture both at backend frontend levels. propose unified hypervision scheme based structured decision-making concepts, providing proactive, collaborative, effective decision support.
