ABSTRACT
We report a case of late Capsular Block Syndrome (CBS) in patient who underwent cataract surgery 12 years back. It was diagnosed with slit-lamp examination and by using anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) that showed hyper-reflective material trapped the capsular bag, between IOL posterior surface capsule. Anterior capsule fibrosis seen both eyes but left eye capsulorhexis irregular margins had smaller diameter compared to right eye. The CBS treated Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy allowing rapid evacuation liquid towards vitreous chamber. Complete resolution confirmed AS-OCT. Best Corrected Visual Acuity (BCVA) improved from 0.2 logMAR before treatment 0.0 one week after treatment. BCVA remained unchanged year follow-up no sign new fibrosis.
