ABSTRACT
Background: Lung cancer reduces lung function, muscle mass, and psychological well-being, which lowers exercise capacity quality of life. Pulmonary rehabilitation, such as aerobic exercise, can improve the life (QoL) in patients. This study aimed to investigate influence on six-minute walking test (6MWT) Methods: A clinical trial with a quasi-experimental, pretest, post-test design was conducted stage ≥IVa adenocarcinoma patients who were receiving outpatient targeted therapy at pulmonary clinic Dr. Moewardi General Hospital for ≥1 month starting from May 2023, until required sample size met. The 6MWT Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy-Lung (FACT-L) measured baseline eight weeks ±2 after by about 15-20 minutes breathing exercises. Results: included fourteen control group fifteen group. mean difference between 38.33 m. Functional, subscale (LCS), total, TOI FACT-L showed significant differences increment pre-test (P<0.05), most categories both groups, except social.
