ABSTRACT
Antibiotic resistant Enterococcus faecium isolated from the diarrheic sheep were subjected to antibacterial activity of plant essential oils and their fractions. The fraction with least minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was cytotoxicity gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS) analysis.Primarily, biochemically characterized isolates confirmed by PCR amplification 16S rRNA gene followed nucleotide sequencing accession numbers received MW332526.1,MW332527.1,MW332528.1 MW332529.1.These screened for antibiotic resistance a variety classes recorded as all tested antibiotics.Antibacterial (n=05) checked against three selected E. isolates.Activity Eucalyptus globulus highest (13.00±1.3mm) among fractions globulus, n-hexane plus chloroform depicted higher mean zone inhibition (13.45±1.11mm)with MIC (25.28±7.41mg/mL) which differed significantly (P<0.05) other tested.Cell survival percentage 58.60 at 112.10 mg/mL concentration.GCMS analysis revealed that (14.4%)was Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-ol,1,7,7-trimethyl.It concluded showed (P<0.05)better results compared (n=08) solvent treatment cases diarrhea in caused faecium.
