ABSTRACT
The article presents an overview of current issues international regulation the content heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic) in food. Special attention is paid to revision standards for arsenic rice, some types fish, cadmium chocolate, lead meat, offal, wine. A comparative analysis -permissible levels food products EU Russian Federation carried out.
