ABSTRACT
Microsatellite markers were characterized in the extremely specialized ephemeral wetland plant species Cyperus fuscus (Cyperaceae). The will be used for studying population genetics natural vs. anthropogenic habitats, on a European scale, and role of soil seed bank life cycle this species.Twenty-one microsatellite loci established scored two populations, with mean number alleles 2.6 2.9 expected heterozygosity 0.405 0.470, respectively. Forty-four additional ranging from one to four (mean = 2.1) successfully amplified seven individuals. The novel useful genetic structure populations as well their bank.
