ABSTRACT
The modular multilevel converter (MMC), which is the foundation of voltage-source (VSC)-high- voltage direct current (HVDC), has received significant attention over past ten years. As a result, MMC undergone extensive technical and operational improvements, making it an appealing option for achieving efficient renewable energy harvesting, particularly offshore wind farms. This paper discusses state-of-the-art control algorithms that are most effective simulating large HVDC systems, including Moreover, test system suggested to show how well selected techniques perform in practical scenarios. Overall, this work will serve as helpful shortcut relevant material pertains research topic.
