ABSTRACT
AIM:To compare the effectiveness of sequential therapy for Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori ) infection with that triple varying durations. METHODS:The 460 patients enrolled in this study had H. -associated gastritis or a gastric duodenal ulcer.After screening, -infected were randomly assigned to receive either conventional 7, 10 14 d, new 10-d therapy.Each 4 treatment groups included 115 patients.The outcomes eradication assessed wk after by urea breath test and histology. RESULTS:The overall rate was 81.0%, rates 75.7% 7-d therapy, 81.9% 84.4% 14-d 82.0% therapy.Neither intention-to-treat analysis nor per protocol showed significant differences using standard (P = 0.416 P 0.405, respectively). CONCLUSION:There are no between any duration Korean patients.
