ABSTRACT
Endoscopic dilation of esophageal strictures is a commonly performed procedure in the management dysphagia. The usually done with fluoroscopic guidance. aim this study was to assess use Tracer guide wire conjunction Savary-Gilliard dilators tight without fluoroscopy.Fifty-five patients significant dysphagia from due variety causes were dilated endoscopically. consisted two parts. First, guidewire passed using endoscopic guidance, and then, fluoroscopy. A modified employed particularly effective negotiating very strictures, which lumen less than 6 mm. In general, "Rule Three" "2-3 sessions 10 days, maximum up 42 French" rules followed. 401 dilations total 55 patients(malignant 30, benign 25) 177 carried out.The placement successfully fluoroscopy, improvement achieved all patients. Esophageal plastic stent (out diameter 40 French) placed five malignant stricture-three them tracheo-esophageal fistula.Dilation fluoroscopy safe treatment even strictures.
