ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the application of high-resolution ultrasonography in diagnosis nerve root lesion cervical vertebra intervertebral foramen part. Methods Twenty-seven patients with avulsion injury brachial plexus part and 8 schwannoma were examined ultrasonography. Thirty healthy volunteers involved for sonographic imagings normal The ultrasound findings before operation compared surgical outcomes. Results shown as hypoechoic tubular strucuture, which could be identified artery transverse process used landmarks root. detection ratios C5-C8 outside braehial 100%. In 27 plexus, enlarged area, dissected partly or disappearing, distal parts swelling, edema,or cerebrospinal fluid assembling cystic masses. part, spinal ganglia tumor-like mass, blood supply inside. Conclusions High-resolution is great value early convenient mass especially community hospitals, which provide important information clinical therapy.
