ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the application of high-frequency ultrasonography in diagnosis close injury and neoplasm brachial plexus. Methods The plexus 12 healthy volunteers,6 patients with suspected injury, and 3 were observed examined by ultrasonography. The ultrasound images also compared intraopemtive findings. Results interscalenus space subclavian artery useful anatomic landmarks for mapping bmchial plexus. The normal appears as tubular acrogenic structure parallel linear echoes on long axis views, and a round echogenic punctiform transverse scans. In subjects, the detection rate C_(5-7) nerve roots upper middle trunks was 100%(12/12),while lower trunk 83.3%(10/12).In 6 braehial plexus, nerves seen partly dissected swelling indistinct inner structures. In plexus, the tumors visualized hypoechogenic masses color Doppler blood flow signals connecting plexus. Two first diagnosed ultrasonography. Conclusions High-frequency is geat value noninvasive neoplasm.
