ABSTRACT
To validate transient elastography (Fibroscan) in assessment of hepatic fibrosis autoimmune hepatitis (AIH).Liver stiffness was assessed using Fibroscan totally 30 patients with AIH. We compared the results Scheuer stage liver biopsy each patient.4 were shown as S0, 6 S1, 5 S2, 11 S3 and 4 S4. Failure measurement occurred 1 case (3.3%) because her increased body mass index (BMI). The significantly correlated (r = 0.801, P less than 0.001). stiffnesses between mild moderate (S0-2) advanced (S3-4) different (t -3.937, 0.001).Transient is a promising non-invasive method for detection hepatitis. Its use follow up management these should be evaluated further.
