ABSTRACT
Objective To study the effective methods to treat injuries roots of hepatic veins and retrohepatic vena cava (RHC).Methods From January 1,2006 December 31,2012,we treated 6 cases with RHC.Different approaches were used achieve vascular exclusion (HVE) according sites injuries.We also reviewed experience reported in medical literature.Results Of patients,2 died intraoperatively,1 postoperatively,3 patients survived.Although there are RHC,the mortality rate is still high.It a major challenge for surgeons these injuries.Conclusions Adequate exposure injured site rapid control bleeding keys success.The combined use open surgery interventional techniques may new approach deal future.
