Predictive factors associated with reversibility of post-transplantation diabetes mellitus for adult: a Meta-analysis

ABSTRACT
Objective
To systematically review the predictive factors associated with reversibility of post-transplantation diabetes mellitus in adults using Meta-analysis, and to provide a theoretical basis for clinical prevention treatment after transplantation.
Methods
Pub Med, Web Science, Cochrane Library (Issue 5, 2017), CNKI, VIP WanFang Data were searched from inception until May 2017. Two authors independently assessed trials inclusion extracted data. Discrepancies resolved consultation third reviewer. Publication biases evaluated, Meta-analyses conducted RevMan5.3.
Results
A total 7 studies analyzed which involved 979 adults. Meta-analysis showed following significant factors: male (OR=1.73, 95%CI 1.19 2.50, P<0.05), advanced age (MD=1.73, 0.07 10.39, P=0.05), high FPG before transplantation (MD=5.66, 0.11 11.31, hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection (OR=1.52, 1.08 2.14, frequency combination therapy MMF (OR=0.26, 0.61, short time development PTDM (MD=-19.08, -37.08 -1.07, P<0.05). There was no correlation preoperative BMI, family history acute rejection.
Conclusion
The study that male, age, transplantation, infection, MMF, post- mellitus.
