Clinical observation on contraception effects of three types of intrauterine device

Objective To observe the clinical contraeeption effects of GyneFix IN IUD,MCu IUD and TCu220C IUD.Methods From January 2005 to December 2006,comparative study was carried out by randomly applying 3 different types IUDs(GyneFix IN,MCu IUD) for 300 healthy women.Follow-up survey taken after 1,3,6,and 12 months.Results The pregnancy rates with among IUDs showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The expulsion MCu were lower than that IUD(P<0.01).The removal rate IUD(P<0.05).The months cumulative continuation higher IUD(P<0.01).Conclusions can be recommended use based upon advantages rate,lower removsl because side-effect rate.Proper should selected depending on individuals,in order increase contraception decrease side-effects.
