Hyperuricaemia and blood pressure, and blood lipid and glucose

Objective To explore the correlation between hyperuricaemia and blood pressure, lipid glucose.

Methods By using simple cluster sampling, 2 branch units from PetroChina Changqing Oilfield Company were selected, all 720 subjects with (HUA) assigned to HUA group; another 620 participants normal uric acid (UA) level into group.The glucose was assessed by Logistic regression.

Results The odds ratio (OR) of those who had 1, or 3 abnormal status hypertension, hyperlipidemia impaired fasting in group much higher than (OR values 4.036, 2.562, 4.174, respectively). regression showed that male, systolic pressure (SBP), GLU, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) risk factors 7.736, 2.309, 1.721, 2.761 1.411, respectively), while high-density (HDL-C, OR=0.211) a protective factor HUA.

Conclusions Gender, may have UA.Multiple should be considered improve effectiveness health education promotion.
