ABSTRACT
Objective
To explore the relationship among aggressive behavior, hostile attribution bias and childhood trauma in schizophrenic patients.
Methods
135 patients were tested with Modified Overt Aggression Scale (MOAS), Chinese-version of Ambiguous Intentions Hostility Questionnaire (AIHQ-C) Childhood Trauma (CTQ). According to score MOAS, divided into group (n=58) non-aggressive (n=77). The compared between two groups, correlation hierarchical regression analysis used investigate relationships variables.
Results
Compared patients, had significantly higher AIHQ-C total hostility (6.27±1.20 vs 5.90±0.97, P<0.05), blame (8.04±1.97 6.91±2.10, P<0.01) aggression (6.17±1.02 5.59±1.04, P<0.01). Correlation showed that MOAS score, AIHQ scores CTQ positively correlated each other (r=0.171~0.350, P<0.05~0.01). Regression indicated directly predicted behavior(β=0.342, P<0.05)and completely mediated behavior.
Conclusion
The behavior is associated experience style. indirectly influences by mediating bias.
