ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the genotypes , allele frequencies and dynamic distribution on resistance associated esterase genes of Culex pipiens complex in Hangzhou. Methods The PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay was applied to type genes, surveillance gene natural population Hangzhou during 2003-2005, phenotype were detected by starch gel electrophoresis technique. Results PCR-RFLP for three consecutive years disclosed four genotypes, namely, world-wide highly active homozygous Est beta 1(1) (50%-54%), 2 (29%-34%), heterozygous 1(1)/beta (5%-10%) N (3.13%) a new genotype. research 2005 with technique revealed major types, (61%), alpha 2/beta (12%), 8/beta 8 (7%) sensitive (29%). Conclusion There should be various During period type; second. genotype only mere percentage 3.13%. As its insecticide, follow-up study needed. molecular typing amplified consistent phenotype.
