ABSTRACT
Summary. Introduction. Hemorrhoids are one of the most common diseases rectoanal area, in particular, USA alone, about 2.2 million cases this disease recorded annually, significantly affecting quality life patients and is considered leading cause non-fatal bleeding from distal gastrointestinal tract. In addition, hemorrhoids significant discomfort impaired work capacity. According to literature, number people suffering world reaches 50-85%, affects any gender at age. The aim study. analyze risk factors, prerequisites for occurrence clinical picture hemorrhoidal disease. Materials methods. This a cohort study by its design. To obtain data set, blind questionnaire method was used. A developed on basis previous studies with modifications adjustments that took into account local aspect. create questionnaire, appropriate Google Forms tool Calculations were performed mainly using built-in analysis tools, if necessary, partially MS Excel spreadsheets. Results. Among patients, women dominated (78.22%), 64.36% married, vast majority highly educated – 83.17%, 56.64% had an income above average, 32.67% diagnosed previously. symptoms hemorrhoids, pain during defecation (74.26%), (61.39%), anal canal (36.63%), swelling (51.49%) itching (42.57%) dominated. certain tendency increase exacerbations warm period year noted. mostly represented stage 2 (43.56%) 0-1 (41.58%). pronounced (stages 3-4) observed only 14.86% patients. Conclusions. pathologies among surgical more than men. Maintaining adequate diet rich fiber ensuring healthy lifestyle can help prevent alleviate symptoms.
