ABSTRACT
Catalytic systems based on nickel nanoparticles (NiNPs) can be used to reduce the nitroaromatic compounds with sodium borohydride, obtain synthesis gas from reducing raw materials, etc. The mechanism of catalytic action in such processes is similar Raney nickel, however, nanosize particles makes it possible create a much wider range due use various carriers. Research into NiNPs hydrogen generation deserves special attention. In particular, known that are an effective catalyst for decomposition alkaline NaBH4 solutions. Another promising source hydrazine hydrate, which has high capacity, solid reaction products not formed during its decomposition, and also economically more profitable compared NaBH4. Recently was shown solutions ethylene glycol presence NiNPs, decomposed according N2H4 -> N2 + 2H2, i. e., only nitrogen products. Therefore, purpose this work investigate activity process generating by hydrazine. were synthesized reduction acetate solution absence surfactants. Using SEM, EDX XRD obtained spherical shape size 150-200 nm do contain hydroxide residues. investigated using volumetric method. It rate evolution 130 ml/min per 1 gram catalyst, activation energy 65 ± 2 kJ/mol.
