ABSTRACT
Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide. The global incidence stroke has increased in recent years, although low and middle-income countries have been heavily affected. Because complicated diversified physical emotional disruption, survivors are likely to face a variety difficulties daily life activities. wide impact on all body structures functions, there no gold standard instrument evaluate impairment elements recovery after stroke, single scale that can capture effects stroke. International Classification Impairments, Disability, Handicaps (ICIDH) categorized consequences diseases into three categories: impairment, disability, handicap. Using biopsychosocial model 2001 WHO defines classifies disability by using Functioning Disability Health (ICF). ICF divides function structure, activity, participation. This article aims review most important tools reliable valid assessing left stroke: National Institute Scale (NIHSS), Barthel index (BI), modified Rankin (mRS), Instrumental activities living (IADL), Glasgow outcome (GOS), Functional Independence Measure (FIM), World Organization Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0). WHODAS 2.0 questionnaire validated several it would be useful validated, also, our country.
