ABSTRACT
Metal oxide nanoparticles are increasingly being produced and will inevitably up in the aquatic environment. In this work, we focus on metal CuO.These used many commercial products (e.g.CuO catalysts, semiconductors chemical sensors). We focused acute adverse effects of CuCl2 CuO NPs <50 nm, particular. The aim study was to investigate toxicity Daphnia magna Tubifex tubifex.Selected representatives an important part fish food chain. The effect salt tested growth D. test scenario according OECD guidelines 202.Tests with T. tubifex were performed method ASTM E1706-04.The concentrations as follows: 0.0005, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1 mg•l -1 0.25, 0.75, tubifex, respectively.Graphpad Prism for data visualization statistics.Dose-response curves constructed EC50/LC50 values calculated. In particular, changes behaviour organisms noted. The impairment Daphnids movement holding at bottom burrowing may lead ecologically detrimental effects, such increase susceptibility invertebrate species predation. This could possibly biomagnifying chain, thereby affecting entire ecosystem.
