ABSTRACT
Cells sense a variety of extracellular cues, including the composition and geometry matrix, which is synthesized remodeled by cells themselves. Here, we present method Light-Induced Molecular Adsorption Proteins (LIMAP) using PRIMO system as patterning technique to produce micro-patterned matrix (ECM) substrates single or combination proteins. The enables printing ECM patterns in micron resolution with excellent reproducibility. We provide step-by-step protocol demonstrate how this can be applied study processes neuronal pathfinding. LIMAP has significant advantages over existing micro-printing methods terms ease more than one component ability generate pattern any gradient. easily adapted contribution almost chemical towards cell fate behavior. Finally, discuss common issues that arise these avoided.
