ABSTRACT
Pathogens can cause a wide variety of infectious diseases. The biological processes induced by the host in response to infection determine severity disease. To study such processes, researchers use high-throughput sequencing techniques (RNA-seq) that measure dynamic changes transcriptome at different stages infection, clinical outcomes, or disease severity. This investigation lead better understanding diseases, as well uncovering potential drug targets and treatments. protocol presented here describes complete pipeline analyze RNA-sequencing data from raw reads functional analysis. is divided into five steps: (1) quality control data; (2) mapping annotation genes; (3) statistical analysis identify differentially expressed genes co-expressed (4) determination molecular degree perturbation samples; (5) Step 1 removes technical artifacts may impact downstream analyses. In step 2, are mapped annotated according standard library protocols. 3 identifies infected samples, comparison with non-infected ones. Sample variability presence outliers verified using approach 4. Finally, 5 reveals pathways associated phenotype. aims support through RNA-seq host-pathogen interaction studies drive future vitro vivo experiments, essential understand mechanism infections.
