ABSTRACT
Thermal comfort is the individual satisfaction with surrounding thermal environment. It mainly affected by environmental factors (i.e., air temperature, relative humidity, movement, and mean radiant temperature) activity clothing). However, other such as acclimatization, experiences expectations, food drink, body shape subcutaneous fat, age gender, state of health might play a significant role in sensation This study investigates possible differences perception between local foreign residents, which occur due to influence contributing that are linked their thermal, cultural, behavioural backgrounds. High-rise residential buildings accommodate residents were selected, questionnaire survey was distributed assess perception. The results showed more satisfied comfortable environment compared residents. this difference found be statistically insignificant; therefore, it current study, including expectation, clothing insulation levels. Therefore, further large-scale investigation required analysis on different gropes.
