ABSTRACT
Abstract Measurement of the largest angular scale ( ℓ < 30) features cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization is a powerful way to constrain optical depth reionization and search for signature inflation through detection primordial B -modes. We present an analysis maps covering 73.6% sky made from 40 GHz channel Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS) 2016 August 2022 May. Taking advantage measurement stability enabled by front-end modulation excellent conditions Atacama Desert, we show this achieves higher sensitivity than analogous frequencies satellite measurements in range 10 100. In combination with external data, expand spatial variations spectral energy density (SED) include new regions SED harmonic domain. place upper limit on circular 5 125 first bin showing D 0.023 $\mu {{\rm{K}}}_{\mathrm{CMB}}^{2}$?> <mml:msubsup> <mml:mrow> </mml:mrow> <mml:mi>CMB</mml:mi> <mml:mn>2</mml:mn> </mml:msubsup> 95% confidence. These results establish standard recovery largest-scale CMB ground signal exciting possibilities when higher-frequency channels are included analysis.
