ABSTRACT
Abstract Intrinsic associated absorption lines (AALs) in quasar spectra play a crucial role providing insights into the chemical and physical properties of outflows, host galaxies, their surrounding interstellar medium. Affected by complexity overlap with emission profiles, there are still many challenges to effectively measure AALs massive data, which significantly limits benefits spectroscopic surveys. In this study, we first constructed reliable sample 3000 containing only narrow lines, broad no detected based on data from Sloan Digital Sky Survey. We then implemented deep learning model capable automatically extracting pseudocontinuum profiles C iv lines. The proposed was validated comparing its generated those methods presented W.-R. Huang et al., A. M. Quider G. Zhu & B. Ménard, as well measuring AAL parameters different approaches, thereby demonstrating model’s reliability. This dramatically simplifies processing improves convenience scientific studies related quasars.
