ABSTRACT
Although previous studies have proposed predictive models of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) based on maternal status, they do not always provide reliable results. The present study aimed to create a novel model that included ultrasound data fat distribution and serum inflammatory factors. clinical 1,158 pregnant women treated at Tangshan Gongren Hospital eight other flagship hospitals in Tangshan, including the First group, Ninth group rehabilitation hospital, railway central Fengnan Qianan Yanshan Qianxi Kangli hospital Jidong Sub‑hospital, were analyzed following division subjects into GDM non‑GDM groups according their diagnostic results 24‑28 weeks pregnancy. Univariate analysis was performed investigate significance parameters for diagnosis prediction established using stepwise regression analysis. value evaluated Homer‑Lemeshow goodness‑of‑fit test receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC). demonstrated age, pre‑pregnancy body mass index, family history mellitus, polycystic ovary syndrome, GDM, high systolic pressures, glycosylated hemoglobin levels, triglyceride total cholesterol low‑density lipoprotein hypersensitive C‑reactive protein, increased subcutaneous thickness visceral all correlated with an risk (all P<0.01). area under 0.911 (95% CI, 0.893‑0.930). Overall, indicated current model, which serological data, may be more effective predictor compared single models. In conclusion, developed tool determine during second trimester. This various factors, occurrence China prove useful guiding future practice.
