ABSTRACT
Pilomatrix carcinoma is an extremely rare skin tumor derived from basaloid cells in the hair follicles; it often exhibits locally aggressive behavior with a tendency toward local recurrence. The average age of occurrence 45 years, and there appears to be male female incidence ratio 4:1. Although pilomatrix carcinomas are predominantly identified neck scalp, studies literature reporting other development sites, including upper extremities, torso popliteal fossa. If diagnosed at early stage, this malignant generally treated wide surgical resection. However, for advanced-stage tumors, no standard treatment procedures known produce good results. current study presents case 76-year-old originating scalp metastases lung. patient had rapid complete clinical response following oral combination chemotherapy regimen cyclophosphamide etoposide.
