Synchronous liver metastasis at initial diagnosis of adrenal pheochromocytoma by CT: A case report

ABSTRACT
Pheochromocytoma is a tumor of the sympathetic nervous system, characterized by atypical symptoms and signs. metastases can be found in various tissues organs. However, synchronous metastasis at initial diagnosis pheochromocytoma rare. The present study described case with liver adrenal based on imaging findings. A 41‑year‑old woman presented pain fatigue for 1 month. Physical examination showed increased blood pressure heart rate sinus tachycardia. Laboratory revealed normal levels markers serum or urine epinephrine norepinephrine. CT large cystic solid mass right lobe gland, part was enhanced after enhancement. pathological gland metastasis. patient underwent hepatectomy resection. During postoperative follow‑up, patient's catecholamine were within range. Three years surgery, multiple metastases. Chemotherapy administered to patient. year later, re‑examination an increase enlargement metastases, remained similar previous one. After 6 months succumbed recurrence Preoperative metastatic challenging. This mainly emphasizes that findings help clinical pheochromocytoma.
